With the Entry of Private Banks, state Banks have more Attention to Cut Costs for Competition in the Banking Sector. The Situation of Competition in the Iranian's Banking Industry During 1375- 1387 has been Investigated by Using Panel data for 15 private or state Banks in the Economy.
The Market Structure Measurement in Banking Industry of Iran and its Exclusive on Competition Assessment and the Degree of Competition in the Country's Banking System for Paying Loans and Facilities was the Target of this Research.
For Explanation the State of the Banking Market Structure, Current Research Focuses on Explaining the Banking Market through the Calculating Lerner's Index.
The Results of the Calculation for the Index Showed that During the Considered Period, with the Entry of Private Banks, the Loan Market in Banking Industry has Moved Somewhat to being Competitive |
